Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight

Carols by Candlelight is a much loved Australian tradition on Christmas Eve and this year marks their 82nd year. Held at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, families and friends come together to sing along to all their favourite Christmas songs. This magical event raises funds and awareness for Vision Australia, it supports kids who are blind or have low vision.

Carols at Como Park

The ever-popular singer and actor Rob Mills is set to host and perform at this year’s Carols at Como Park. He will be supported by Isaiah Firebrace, (Winner of 2016 Australian X-Factor), Alexis Van Maanen (GFO & Opera Australia’s 2017 Evita) and Jude Perl (multi-award winning singer, songwriter and comedian). All performances will be supported by the Stonnington City Brass and South of the River Choir, with a special visit by Santa! The concert will finish with a spectacular fireworks display.

Christmas at Central Park

Hosted by award-winning pop-rock artist and Eurovision entrant Ella Hooper (Killing Heidi and re-formed Killing Heidi Version 2), this year’s event will feature incredible performances by Jason Heerah (2014 Australian X-Factor), Fem Belling (South African born vocalist and violinist) and local Stonnington-based theatre performer Blake Bowden (The Book of Mormon, Fiddler on the Roof, South Pacific). All performances will be supported by the Stonnington City Brass and South of the River Choir, with a special visit by Santa!

Christmas Carols in the Park

Dendy Park will once again host their annual Christmas Carols in the Park. This year will have a variety of performers including Jack Vidgen (The Voice 2019 top ten), the Southern Area Concert band, Vocally Wild and Mosaic Choirs plus performers from Hampton and Brighton Primary Schools. The concert will finish with a spectacular fireworks display at 9.30pm.

Families are invited to Bicentennial Park in Chelsea to enjoy the Carols by Kingston. This year’s festive program includes live performances from Tim Campbell, Rhonda Burchmore and guests. Banyule’s Carols by Candlelight

Ivanhoe Park will light up for the annual Banyule’s Carols by Candlelight. There will be performances from Bobby Fox (Jersey Boys, Blood Brothers, Mamma Mia!, Ladies in Black, We Will Rock You), Jazmin Varlet (finalist on The Voice Australia 2019), Australian Children’s Choir, Diamond Valley Brass Band and the Kazoos and Santa. Sing the night away with your songbook and LED candle.

Monash Carols by Candlelight

Families are invited to celebrate the festive season at this year’s Monash Carols by Candlelight at Jells Park. Hosted by Pete Smith, performances by Dan Hamill, Bella Paige, Belinda Parsons, Keenan Te and the Amore Duet (featuring Stephen Coutts and Samantha Robertson) and the Monash Carols by Candlelight Band. The kids will be entertained with free rides and activities at the Kids Tinsel Town, be sure to bring your camera to take a photo with Santa.
