This year the Melbourne International Comedy Festival is jammed packed with kid-friendly entertainment. Running from 27 March until 21 April 2019 at various locations around Melbourne. The month-long festival will showcase – The (Very) Big Laugh at Federation Square and Melbourne Museum Plaza, Comedy Club for Kids at The Famous Spiegeltent and Chadstone Paradiso Spiegeltent.

Daisy is a magical, macabre vampire who performs acts of death-defying comedy with her human servant, Trevor Shadow Wingtip. Utterly weird and wonderful!

Gratuitous, ridiculous, hilarious, and possibly hazardous, Melbourne’s maestros of kids’ comedy will host The (Very) Big Laugh Out across two Fridays on the Fed Square Main Stage. Joined by a cavalcade of local and international acts including The Birdmann, Head First Acrobats, Banana Lightning, Don’t Mess with the Dummies, Double Denim, Tessa Waters, Clara Cupcakes and Paul Currie (N.IRL).

Comedy Club for Kids offers a supersized variety line-up from stand-up and sketch to musical comedy and circus. There’s something for everyone and lots of laughs to be had!
Hosted by Grandma (Nikki Britton) and Berlin’s Prince and Princess of Punk Rock Otto & Astrid from Die Roten Punkte and featuring Tessa Waters, Xavier Michelides, Paul Currie (N.IRL), Anna Pocket Rocket, Josh Glanc, Dr Professor Neal Portenza, Alex The Magician, Head First Acrobats, Double Denim, and more!
