Merlin Entertainments ANZ – owner and operator of iconic family attractions such as SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne, has launched a FREE online Education Hub called Merlin’s Education Toolbox.
Merlin’s Education Toolbox aims to provide much-needed assistance to teachers and parents facilitating home-schooling lessons for children. The program includes videos, worksheets and projects to enrich children’s knowledge about animals and their environment.
The resources will cover a range of Science, History, Maths and English topics including habitats, the food web, conservation, animal life-cycles, Maths with LEGO, with specific activities designed to meet the needs of various school stages.

The worksheets are aimed at all school-aged children and are based on different topics including Animal Habitats (K&1), Conservation (All KS), Animal Life Cycles (KS2), Food Webs (KS2,4&5) and much more.
To break up the day with creative activities head to the Just for Fun category. Children can create marine-themed Easter Eggs, a LEGO Birthday Scene for a Classmate or download a heartwarming ebook The Lost Little Egg.
Since the temporary closure of SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium and LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne both attractions are posting educational live-stream video’s via their Facebook pages. All new times and dates will be announced weekly if you miss out on seeing a live-stream, the videos are also available to view on the video content page.
