Experience the magic of the ocean at the NGV Kids Summer Festival 2024, returning these school holidays from 8 – 14 January 2024 at NGV International. Families can dive into a world inspired by the underwater exhibition, RIFIFI: Jean Jullien for Kids, created by French artist Jean Jullien.
This festival offers a week of FREE activities including performances, yoga, dance workshops, and artist-led sessions. It’s an engaging opportunity for families to enjoy imaginative experiences and discover the wonders of the sea through art and play.

Every day at the Festival, join performers Sarah, Sophia, and Amelia from St Martins Youth Arts Centre. They will entertain the whole family with engaging acts, surprise games, and fantastic giveaways!
St Martins Youth Arts Centre is known for its collaborative work with young people aged 5 to 18, creating contemporary and impactful theatre for adult audiences.

Head to the NGV Garden each day of the festival and watch the sky fill with bubbles. Bring a picnic or enjoy a Pidapipo ice cream while moving to tunes inspired by the ocean. It’s a laid-back atmosphere inviting everyone to enjoy the sea’s magic.

Families can experience yoga and storytelling sessions with Rina from Sunny Time Yoga and yoga instructor Hayley Bonnici. Sunny Time Yoga specialises in children’s yoga, promoting its positive impact on mental and physical well-being.
