Tesselaar KaBloom 2025: A Breathtaking Festival of Flowers

The Tesselaar KaBloom Festival of Flowers returns in 2025, showcasing over a million blooms in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Take a stroll through five acres of vibrant flowers, including sunflowers, salvias, marigolds, and dahlias, all arranged in stunning patterns. For the first time this year, you can also enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the floral displays from the Kabloom Ferris Wheel, operating daily throughout the festival.

Circus Oz: Now for Wow!

Circus Oz Now for Wow! brings an exciting mix of acrobatics, strength, and skill to the stage, with performances by a talented ensemble. Watch as ordinary people do extraordinary things in a fun and engaging show.

Shows are held daily at 11:30 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm.

Autumn Fever Days (31/3/25 – 4/4/25 and 22/4/25 – 24/4/25)
Special performances at 11:30 am and 2 pm.

Circus Workshops
Want to try your hand at circus skills? Ruccis Circus will be running workshops where you can learn some basic circus tricks and techniques.

Weekdays: 11 am – 3 pm
Weekends: 11 am – 4 pm
Workshops are available daily, excluding Autumn Fever dates.

Storytelling in the Fairy Garden

The Fairy Garden, a magical space where fairies gather amidst the blooms. Every day, Teague, Meika, and Calista share stories from the magical Silvan Glade, passing on the folklore of the fae. Their storytelling sessions are a wonderful way for children to connect with this magical world.

Showtimes: 12 pm, 1:30 pm, and 2:45 pm daily.

Bubbles in the Flowers

Becky Bubble adds a whimsical touch with her bubble shows, creating a lighthearted atmosphere with her colourful, soapy bubbles. 

Showtimes: 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:15 pm (excluding Autumn Fever Days: 31/3/25 – 4/4/25 and 22/4/25 – 24/4/25).

Drumming Workshops During School Holidays

Join in a drumming session with friends and family, where you can learn rhythms and have some fun together. 

Sessions: 11 am and 1:30 pm.

Easter Rabbit Hunt

Over the Easter Long Weekend (18/4/25 – 21/4/25), enjoy a fun and unique Easter hunt. Follow the clues around the farm to find 10 mischievous rabbits and claim your prize. The Easter Bunny will also be visiting daily to share some chocolate treats.

No pre-booking needed, but spaces are limited each day. At just $10 per person, it’s a great activity for all ages.

Tractor Train & Ferris Wheel

Take a relaxing ride on the Tesselaar tractor train, which departs regularly from the Flower Station. As you tour the farm, enjoy an informative audio guide that shares details about the history of the farm and the care involved in growing the flowers. $5 per person, $15 for 4 people, and children 2 and under are free.

This year, enjoy a new perspective with the 30m Ferris Wheel. Get a bird’s-eye view of the flower fields and their patterns. $10 per person.

Face Painting & Craft Workshops

The Artistic Dragonfly, Melbourne’s premier face painters, will be on hand to turn you into your favourite character, from superheroes to fairy princesses. $15 per person.

Unleash your creativity with daily craft activities provided by Creative Faire. Suitable for both children and adults, these workshops offer an opportunity to make your own artwork with guidance from Sci and her team. $10-$20 per activity.

Garden Games & Obstacle Course

Enjoy some friendly competition with garden games like giant chess, giant draughts, giant Jenga, totem tennis, and giant naughts and crosses. There’s also an outdoor obstacle course for all to try.

The festival also includes a market with handmade goods, food trucks, and the chance to take home fresh flowers from the flower market. With free parking and discounted Early Bird tickets available until March 21, it’s a great day out for all ages.

1. Is the KaBloom Festival of Flowers suitable for children?
Yes! The festival is family-friendly with a range of activities designed for all ages, from face painting and craft workshops to the Easter Rabbit Hunt and garden games. 

2. Do I need to pre-book tickets for activities?
No pre-booking is required for most activities, but some may have limited spaces available. 

3. How much do tickets cost for children?
For the Tractor Train ride, it’s $5 per person, and children 2 and under ride for free. The Ferris Wheel is $10 per person. Face painting is $15, and craft workshops are priced between $10 and $20. Entry to the KaBloom Festival is $35 (adults), children aged 3-16 years are FREE. Discounted tickets are available for AUTUMN FEVER Weeks.

4. Are there any special events or activities during the Easter Long Weekend?
Yes! Over the Easter Long Weekend (18/4/25 – 21/4/25), they have the Easter Rabbit Hunt. Follow clues around the farm to find 10 rabbits and claim your sweet prize. The Easter Bunny will also be visiting daily to spread some extra joy and chocolate treats!

5. Are there any food options available for families?
Yes, there will be a range of food trucks offering global flavours, so you can enjoy a meal while taking in the scenery. The food trucks will cater to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.

6. Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks.

7. Is there parking available?
Yes, free parking is available for all festival visitors.

8. Is there a rain date or cancellation policy?
The KaBloom Festival of Flowers is an outdoor event, and activities will continue rain or shine. If there are any major weather-related cancellations, they will update attendees on the festival’s website or via social media.

9. Are there any special deals or discounts?

Yes! Discounted Early Bird tickets are available until 21 March 2025.

10. Is there pram access?

Prams are welcome. While the farm is located on a hill, some areas may require a little extra effort to navigate.

11. Is there baby change and breastfeeding facilities?

Yes, they have a small cottage onsite equipped with both baby changing facilities and a dedicated breastfeeding area.

The winner will be notified by email and must claim their prize within 48 hours. Any prizes not claimed within 48 hours may be reallocated to another winner. Open to Australian Residents only. You must be aged 18 years or over to enter. Those who add their details on the above form and press submit by midnight Sunday 16 March 2025, will be entered into the competition. There are two double pass to the 2025 KaBloom Festival of Flowers to win (children aged 3-16 go for free). The two winners may attend the KaBloom Festival of Flowers on one day only between 29 March – 27 April 27 2025. The prize is non-transferable. In the event that Kiddiehood postpones or varies the competition prize, Kiddiehood will not be liable to any person for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of entering the competition.
