The Kids Day Out is an annual event where families can come together for a fun kids festival to help raise funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital. The day is filled with plenty of activities and entertainment for the whole family.

Easter long weekend

Easter at Queen Victoria Market

What better way to get ready for the Easter long weekend then stocking up on your supplies at Queen Victoria Market. The smell of freshly baked hot cross buns, chocolate eggs setting, fresh seafood for Good Friday and the list goes on.

The Eggporium will host traditional Ukrainian egg decorating demonstrations and families can also pick up their very own Anatoli egg-dyeing kits from The Hellenic Deli.

Melbourne Easter Show

The Melbourne Easter Show offers 4 days of fun for the whole family. Whether you like carnival rides, Petting Zoos, Monster trucks, Showbags, and Easter egg hunts there something for everyone to enjoy.

Highlights from the show:

Monster Trucks
Calling all adrenaline junkies, Monster Trucks will keep you on the edge of your seats, with the roar of their engines of these gigantic 4 wheeled beasts. Monster Trucks will have 3 shows a day.

Kids can enjoy the excitement of watching these very talented cowboys and their amazing horses. There will be several shows daily.

Animal farm
Kids will love getting up close to cute fluffy ducks, chickens, pat a sheep and chase bunny rabbits. Children of all ages are welcome.

Light up the sky
To finish the weekend on Monday 22 April at 8.30pm, a brilliant show of lights will light up the sky.

Easter at Prahran Market

Your kids will be entertained at Prahran Markets this Easter, with Free Easter Face Painting, Peninsula Animal Farm and live entertainment in Market Square on the weekends.

There are special Easter crafting sessions for the kids. Prahran Markets are teaming up with Zero Waste Victoria, who will be taking over the Omega Neil Perry Kitchen to run sustainable and crafty workshops involving natural food crafts. Look out for the Easter bunny who will also be hopping around the market on Sunday 14th and Saturday 20th, April 2019.
