Rug up and grab the family for this fun night of dazzling fire shows late-night animal spotting, an Eastern-barred Bandicoot lantern parade, a Secret Garden, the Glow Zone, a hot chocolate bar and marshmallow toasting on campfires – all in the name of wildlife conservation.
Families can explore the African Trail by torchlight, see if you can spot animals along the way. Listen out for calls of the night and watch as wild nocturnal critters wake and get ready to start their day.
Head into the Bandicoot Hideout to introduce yourself to the critically-endangered Easter-Barred Bandicoot and learn about the conservation work that’s bringing this native animal back from the brink of extinction.
Find your way to the Glow Zone and be wowed by spectacular fire dancers.
As the temperature drops, warm up by toasting marshmallows over a flickering campfire, or head to the Meerkat Bistro for hot chocolate and mulled wine.
Wild Nights is the last chance for families to see Werribee Open Range Zoo’s Dinosaurs, which are part of the current Zoorassic experience on now.
