The Olivier Award-winning comedy sensation PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (sort of) is heading to Melbourne for its Australian premiere at Athenaeum Theatre One from 18 June to 11 July 2026.

Presented by Neil Gooding Productions and Woodward Productions, this acclaimed production reimagines Jane Austen’s beloved classic with a fresh, fast-paced and wildly entertaining twist.

Written by Isobel McArthur after Jane Austen, the production has captivated audiences in London’s West End, earning the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy.

This bold retelling transforms Austen’s world of romance, class and social expectations into an energetic musical comedy performed by five fearless women playing every role. Packed with humour, heart and modern pop anthems, the show features hits including “Young Hearts Run Free”, “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” and “You’re So Vain”.
