Description

Join Catherine Sewell (Play Specialist), Mal Jackson (Abbotsford Convent’s Gardener) and Samantha Roberts (proud Wurundjeri and Dja Dja Wurrung woman) for an outdoor expedition. Singing, storytelling and hands-on activities, kids will learn about Poorneet (Tadpole) Season in the Kulin Nation’s calendar, discover how to plant seeds, and more.

Kids will have the opportunity to go on a guided walk, learn more about the plants and animals that live in the area, and sow seasonal vegetables in seedling trays which you can take home to grow.
