The Day Out With Thomas™: Party Tour is coming to Puffing Billy Railway this March, offering three weekends of excitement for young fans and their families.

All Aboard for a Scenic Steam Train Ride
Hop on a 50-minute steam train adventure with James the Red Engine and Diesel, departing from Puffing Billy’s Lakeside Station. Enjoy a 20-minute scenic journey to Cockatoo, complete with a short stop, before heading back to Lakeside. Feeling adventurous? Passengers aged 4 and over can dangle their legs from the iconic open-sided carriages for a one-of-a-kind thrill!

Meet Thomas & Friends™ Characters
The fun doesn’t stop when the train ride ends! Head to the Lakeside Visitor Centre to meet Thomas, Sir Topham Hatt, Troublesome Truck, Bulgy Bus, and more. Don’t forget to capture the moment with photos alongside your favourite characters!

Activities for the Whole Family

• Celebration Station: Get creative with party-themed arts and crafts.
• Play Pod: Enjoy interactive activities like Coal in the Hole, Mighty Mac’s Mosaic Wall, and the Thomas & Friends™ Soft Play Zone.
• Storytime & Movies: Snuggle up with a pillow for Thomas & Friends™ short stories and movies, shared by Lady Hatt.
• Face Painting & Tattoos: Choose a temporary Thomas & Friends™ airbrush tattoo or face painting.

Junior Engineer Fun
Every child receives a Day Out With Thomas™ activity booklet filled with puzzles, colouring sheets, and dot-to-dot fun. To commemorate the day, young fans can also write their names on their very own Junior Engineer Certificate.
