Get ready for a wildly imaginative adventure as YOU & ME and The Land of Lost Things arrive on stage in 2026, bringing Andy Griffiths’ brilliantly bonkers storytelling to life for young audiences and their families.
YOU and ME have lost something important… actually, lots of things. A guinea pig has vanished, a lucky rabbit’s foot is missing, and somewhere along the way, the plot may have disappeared too. Determined to set things right, the pair set off on a chaotic quest through the Land of Lost Things, a strange and unpredictable world filled with snapping turtles, flying socks, treasure-hunting pirates and one very anxious bull.
Armed with a bathtub boat, a guinea pig detector and a questionable sense of direction, the heroes must dodge sharks, outsmart Johnny Knucklehead and avoid getting stuck in the Lost Foot Empawrium if they ever hope to make it home again.
Created by the creative team behind the hugely popular Treehouse stage adaptations, this new theatrical production transforms Andy Griffiths and Bill Hope’s much-loved book into a fast-paced live performance packed with comedy, action and imagination. Designed especially for children aged 6–12 (and the grown-ups who love laughing with them), the show blends playful storytelling, visual humour and theatrical surprises that keep audiences engaged from start to finish.
Presented by Frankston Arts Centre and CDP Kids as part of the 2026 season, the production offers a lively introduction to live theatre and storytelling for young audiences.
An optional post-show Q&A with the cast will take place after the 12:30 pm performance, giving children the opportunity to learn more about how the show was created.
