There are some thrilling waterslides to be found in Melbourne and regional Victoria. With many waterslides offering action-packed features like twists, turns, vertical walls, drops, tunnels, LED shows and of course, speed. They are not for the faint of heart.
If you have a thrill-seeker in the family and want to take the plunge. Here are 10 of the best waterslides in and around Melbourne.
Python Waterslide has multiple twists and turns which feature award-winning sound and light technology. The raft holds up to four riders at a time, riders must be at least six years old and over 110cm tall. If the rider is under ten years old, they must be accompanied by an adult 18+.
The 114m long Constrictor™ Waterslide has a series of spirals with tight, high banking turns and a flume that narrows to 2.1m, expands to 3.1m and then back again. The waterslide can hold one or two riders at a time, riders must be at least 110cm tall. If the rider is under five years old, the rider must be accompanied by an adult 18+.
Location: corner Cranbourne Road and Olive Grove, Frankston, Victoria
Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre features two giant waterslides that open on days forecast 26 degrees and over. The orange waterslide can carry one or two riders on a raft. Riders can enjoy a unique colourful ring light system when travelling through the blue waterslide.
Riders must be 120cm or over to use the waterslides.

Noble Park Aquatic Centre has one of Melbourne’s biggest single-person body waterslide that opens on days forecast 26 degrees and over. The waterslide has an innovative LED light system and some fast turns.
Riders must be over 120cm tall and over five years old.
Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre (GESAC) has two fun waterslides; Ship Wreck Waterslide and Pirates Plunge Waterslide. Both waterslides travel inside and outside of the building.
Ship Wreck Waterslide is an exciting raft slide that can hold up to two riders. Riders must be over 110cm tall. Kids under the age of five years old can ride the slide with a guardian aged 16 or older but must be a minimum of 110cm tall.
Riders will accelerate down a series of twists and turns. Riders must be over 125cm to ride both waterslides, riders under the age of 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Gumbuya World is only 50-minutes South East of Melbourne CBD, it features four impressive waterslides; Boomerango, Red Belly Racer, Taipan and Tiger Snake Tango.
Boomerango can hold up to four riders on a raft. Enjoy the twist and turns until you hit a steep drop that shoots you up a near-vertical wall and plunges you back down. Riders must be over 120cm tall, maximum weight is 250kg.
Red Belly Racer is an exciting waterslide where you can experience head-to-head racing with other riders. Riders must be over 120cm to ride solo, riders who are over 110cm can ride next to a guardian.
Taipan can hold up to four riders on a raft. The slide stands 180m tall and has multiple twists and turns through darkness and light. Riders must be 120cm tall and have a maximum weight of 250kg.
Tiger Snake Tango

Adventure Park is located on the Bellarine Highway, Wallington, 1.3 hours from Melbourne. It’s Victoria’s biggest theme park, which features some exciting waterslides including Tsunami, Tornado, Aqua Racer, Wild West Canyon and Gold Rush Rapids.
Tsunami is Victoria’s first triple funnel waterslide. Standing at an incredible 7.5 storeys high and 172m in length. Riders will ride down a series of dark snaking tunnels, swirling rips and whirlpool funnels. Rafts require 2–4 riders. Riders must be over 120cm to ride.
The Tornado is Victoria’s biggest and longest ProSlide Tornado Waterslide. Towering 7.5 storeys and 205m in length, riders will blast around 360-degree twists and turns, before the raft suddenly drops. Rafts require 2–4 riders. Riders must be over 120cm to ride.
Aqua Racer is Victoria’s biggest six-lane aqua racer. Race your friends down the 80m slide and reach speeds of up to 40km per hour. Riders must be over 110cm to ride.
Wild West Canyon and Gold Rush Rapids hold a two-person raft. Riders will travel down the dark waterslides with two 360 degree turns. Riders must be over 90cm tall.

Gravity Wave is the world’s biggest, longest and tallest ProSlide Tornado Wave. The slide is 201.16m long and 27.1m high. Riders can experience zero g-forces as they are shot up the Gravity Wave-wall. The raft can carry up to four riders at a time. Riders must be 130cm and over to ride.
Kranken Racer is the World’s longest ProSlide Kraken Racer and the first of its kind in Australia. Riders can reach up speeds of over 60 kph while they race down the twisting tunnels and down to the racing lanes. Riders must be over 100cm to ride solo or a rider between 80-99cm must be accompanied by 16 years old+.
Typhoon is the world’s longest ProSlide CannonBowl Waterslide. The Typhoon is both a single and double tube ride with a drop of nearly 19m, riders can reach speeds of over 30 kph. Riders must be over 130cm to ride solo or riders between 120cm–130cm must ride tandem with a rider over 130cm tall.
