Collingwood Children’s Farm will host a spectacular event – 21st Bonfire 2024. Entirely programmed by their dedicated farmers, the Stables Paddock will come alive with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony led by Uncle Bill Nicholson, roaming entertainers, dance performances, a fire truck, craft activities for kids, live music, face painters, food trucks and the Collingwood Country Women’s Association’s famous cake and sweets stall. The magnificent bonfire will be ignited at 6 pm.

Seaworks Winter Solstice Festival is a free event celebrating the longest night and the shortest day of the year, marking the start of winter. This family-friendly festival offers a range of activities, including giant puppets, circus performances, live music, dance, art exhibitions, market stalls, and a variety of food and wine vendors.

Nightide Solstice Festival is returning toQueenscliff in 2024 with a FREE solstice celebration. On 22 June 2024, from 5 pm to 9 pm, the Searoad Ferries terminal will transform into a realm where fire dances with ice, and the night air vibrates with the pulse of primal beats. Gather around the bonfire and enjoy live music, fireworks, pop-up bars, food trucks, and roving entertainers.

Step back in time as the Medieval Winter Fire Festival returns in 2024. Dress up in your finest medieval attire and venture into the winter evening at ‘The Paddock’ behind the Bruthen Mechanics Hall, where a variety of activities await. The East Gippsland Historical Re-Enactment Group will be on hand in authentic costume to share and teach medieval games and skills, alongside captivating sword fighting displays. The Bruthen CFA will oversee the roaring bonfire and several fire pots to ensure everyone stays warm while enjoying the festivities.
