The Firelight Festival is back at the Docklands, featuring fire installations, live music, and performances. RISING Festival
Experience the vibrant spirit of Melbourne at RISING FESTIVAL 2024, where music, art, and performance collide. With 105+ events featuring 480+ artists, including premieres and new commissions, there’s something for all ages.
Explore the city’s streets and venues alive with installations and performances. Families can enjoy art exhibitions and live shows, including favourites like The Blak Infinite, Big Name, No Blankets, The Rivers Sing, Melbourne Out Loud and more.

Firelight Festival & Firelight Labyrinth
City of Melbourne’s FREE Firelight Festival will return to light up the New Quay Promenade, Victoria Promenade, and Harbour Esplanade in Docklands. Families can enjoy beautiful light displays and entertainment, along with the debut of the world-first-ticketed underground light show, the Firelight Labyrinth, created by Mandylights.

Casey Winter Arts Festival is back in 2024, with a spotlight on the diverse local arts and cultural communities across the City of Casey. For school holidays, the program offers dance, songwriting, improv theatre, art, and after-hours exploration of Wilson Botanic Park with Dino Safari. Casey Live and Local micro-festivals will pop up in favourite spots, building a dynamic music scene and celebrating local talent.

Experience the sound, lights, and wintry delights at Sovereign Hill’s Winter Wonderlights, enjoy ice skating in the heart of Ballarat’s CBD, and join the keepers at Ballarat Wildlife Park for a talk at the tiger sanctuary while savouring the “Tiger Breakfast Deal” from the café. Create your own badges at TBH Studio with Holly Would, and visit Creswick’s farm to meet their new goats, Billy The Kid and Bridget.
