Featuring hit songs performed by Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick and more, Trolls is the critically acclaimed, feel-great movie!

Shrek

Monday 9 March 6.30pm
When a green ogre named Shrek discovers his swamp has been ‘swamped’ with all sorts of fairy-tale creatures by the scheming Lord Farquaad, Shrek sets out with a very loud donkey by his side to ‘persuade’ Farquaad to give Shrek his swamp back. Instead, a deal is made. Farquaad, who wants to become the King, sends Shrek to rescue Princess Fiona, who is awaiting her true love in a tower guarded by a fire-breathing dragon. But once they head back with Fiona, it starts to become apparent that not only does Shrek, an ugly ogre, begin to fall in love with the lovely princess, but Fiona is also hiding a huge secret…

Birdman Rally

One of the highlights of the Moomba Festival is the Birdman Rally. This year the Birdman Rally will bring plenty of splashes, spills and thrills to the Yarra River. Melburnians will show off their inventive homemade flying devices in an attempt to soar the furthest over the Yarra River for a charity of their choice.

Fly: these competitors don’t mess around – they mean business and bring top-quality sportsmanship, building techniques and aerodynamic expertise to the competition.

Flop: these competitors are in it for a bit of a hoot. They may not fly the furthest or have the fanciest craft, but they sure have the gusto and enthusiasm to at least take that brave leap off the platform.
