The City of Melbourne’s FREE Firelight Festival is set to illuminate the New Quay Promenade, Victoria Promenade, and Harbour Esplanade in Docklands, offering families stunning light displays and entertainment. This year’s festival introduces an exciting new feature: the world-first ticketed underground light show, the Firelight Labyrinth, a sensory spectacular created by renowned international lighting specialist Mandylights.

Lake Lights will return to Lakes Entrance’s foreshore in 2024. As the sun sets, vibrant hues and stunning projections create a sense of wonder. There will be lantern sculptures and roving performers throughout the night. The Lantern Parade returns in 2024 as part of Lakes Lights on Saturday, 6 July 2024, departing the Slipway Sheds at 6 pm.
Heading into its fourth year, Moama Lights offers a journey through sound and light. This year’s theme, “Enchanted Nights: A Celebration of Light,” transforms Horseshoe Lagoon into a stunning light show inspired by Banjo Paterson’s “The Daylight is Dying.” Wander along the illuminated path towards Moama Wharf, enjoying projections of children’s artworks and the lagoon’s tranquil sounds

The Medieval Winter Fire Festival returns in 2024, dress up in your best medieval costume and venture out into the winter evening. This event will take place in ‘The Paddock’ behind the Bruthen Mechanics Hall and will offer plenty to see and do. The East Gippsland Historical Re-Enactment Group will be there in full costume to share and teach medieval games and skills, as well as put on a sword fighting show. The Bruthen CFA will manage the big bonfire and several fire pots to keep everyone warm.
