Winter Wonderlights offers a variety of Christmas themed activities during the day including fun pantomimes, theatre performances and Christmas themed arts and craft. Fake snow will fall over the beautiful Victorian-style buildings at regular intervals.
Beauty and the Beast
See the classic fairy tale with some added silliness.

The Gingerbread Man
The story of ‘The Gingerbread Man’ told through Victorian shadow puppets.

The Redcoats will march, drill and fire their muskets.

Watch as Sovereign Hill’s Main Street turns into a snowy winter wonderland.

Hear classic Christmas carols played by old-fashioned brass ensemble.

At sunset, Sovereign Hill’s Main Street will be transformed into a sparkling Winter Wonderlight. This year there is an incredible new light projection show with more than 15kms of fairy lights, 25 buildings will come alive with light projections. Kids should keep an eye out for Sir Ginger getting up to mischief on Main Street.

Time: Sovereign Hill will open at 10 am. The ‘Winter Wonderlights’ show will start each evening after 5.45 pm and will finish at 7 pm.
