CherryHill Orchards Spring 2026: Blossom Festival, Family Fun & More

Spring is one of the best times to visit CherryHill Orchards in the Yarra Valley, when the cherry trees are covered in white blossoms and the orchard comes alive with special events and family activities.

With the annual CherryHill Blossom Festival and Bloom & Graze, there are several ways to enjoy the orchard throughout September and early October. CherryHill is also an easy option for a Yarra Valley day trip from Melbourne, with plenty of time to explore the surrounding region.

Planning a Visit to CherryHill Orchards

CherryHill Orchards is around an hour from Melbourne, making it a popular Yarra Valley day trip for families. If you are visiting during the Blossom Festival, allow plenty of time to walk through the orchard, enjoy the Kids Hub and have something to eat.

What to Bring

Spring weather in Melbourne can change quickly, so it’s worth packing for both sunshine and rain. Bring sunscreen and a hat, along with a raincoat and comfortable shoes. A picnic blanket is also handy if you plan to bring your own food and sit in the orchard.

Food & Drink

There are food and drink options available at CherryHill during its spring events, as well as the farm shop and CherryHill’s popular cherry ice cream.
