The 2026 Easter school holidays will see Tesselaar KaBloom Festival of Flowers once again transform the stunning Dandenong Ranges into a spectacular sea of colour. Set across more than 12 acres in Silvan, KaBloom features millions of blooms planted in bold, sweeping designs that celebrate the beauty of autumn in Victoria.

Vibrant sunflowers, salvias, marigolds and dahlias create a stunning floral landscape where families can wander, discover and follow specially designed photo paths to capture lasting memories. This expansive, colourful display makes KaBloom one of the most engaging and family-friendly outdoor festivals in Victoria, perfect for a relaxed day out during the Easter school holidays.

KaBloom is more than just flowers. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views from the iconic Ferris Wheel, explore immersive garden spaces, and experience roving entertainment and live performances throughout the day. Adding to the excitement in 2026, Circus Oz brings high-energy performances with daring acrobatics, hoop diving, juggling, pulsating beats and feats of strength. Circus Oz: Here We Go! is scheduled throughout the festival and promises a fun-packed extravaganza for all ages.

During the Easter school holidays, KaBloom offers a full program of activities for children and families. The School Holiday Program runs from 7–10 April and 13–17 April 2026, featuring the Becky Bubble Show, hands-on Drumming Workshops, Ruccis Circus Skills Workshops, and Enchanting Fairy Tales storytelling sessions alongside multiple Circus Oz performances daily. Families can plan their day around these shows while still enjoying the flower fields, Ferris Wheel, market areas and wide-open spaces for children to explore.

KaBloom also hosts its iconic Easter Rabbit Hunts from 30 March to 6 April 2026, running daily from 10 am – 5 pm (additional fees apply). Instead of traditional egg hunts, children search for hidden rabbits across the grounds, adding an interactive twist to the festival. The Easter Bunny will make appearances over the Easter weekend from 3–6 April 2026, providing extra photo opportunities for families visiting during the long weekend.

The festival grounds also feature a Market Faire showcasing handcrafted goods and locally made products, a flower market to take home fresh blooms, and a variety of food trucks offering international flavours, snacks and sweet treats. With free on-site parking, pram-friendly pathways and accessible amenities, KaBloom is designed to make family visits simple and enjoyable.

Tickets must be purchased exclusively online via kabloom.com.au.

General admission is $36 for adults and $32 for concessions, with off-peak Autumn Fever Weeks offering adults $25 and concession $22.50. Children aged 3–16 are free but require a ticket, while children aged 0–2 do not require a ticket, making this one of the most accessible and family-friendly Easter school holiday events in Victoria.

Yes! Over the Easter Long Weekend (30 March – 6 April 2026), they have the Easter Rabbit Hunt. Follow clues around the farm to find 10 rabbits and claim your sweet prize. The Easter Bunny will also be visiting daily to spread some extra joy and chocolate treats!

4. Are there any food options available for families?
Yes, there will be a range of food trucks offering global flavours, so you can enjoy a meal while taking in the scenery. The food trucks will cater to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Yes, free parking is available for all festival visitors.
