Description

Learn stories of conservation, climate resilience and the Southern Ocean at Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies Centre — a joint venture between Phillip Island Nature Parks and WWF-Australia.

Spend time exploring games and activities that will amuse and educate at the Sound Lab and Research Station. The kids can experience the sights, temperatures and sounds of Antarctica's wildlife and landscape with microscopic specimens, animal calls and thermal imagery. Finish your visit to Antarctic Journey with breathtaking floor to ceiling video footage of life in the Southern Ocean.

After Antarctic Journey, head out to wander the Nobbies boardwalk to see rugged cliffs with crashing waves, Seal Rocks and investigate Little Penguin burrows to see if anyone is home.

Every visit to Antarctic Journey supports Phillip Island Nature Parks rangers' to restore the Summerland Peninsula into a thriving native habitat for local wildlife like Little Penguins, Swamp Wallabies and Eastern Barred Bandicoots. Phillip Island Nature Parks actively manages 25% of Phillip Island including wetland reserves, bushland, beaches and walking trails including the Penguin Parade, The Nobbies, Churchill Island and Koala Conservation Reserve.
