Description
Bicentennial Park is also known as 'Mount Chelsea', is located on Scotch Parade, Chelsea.
The highlight of the play space is two massive mound slides. Kids can access the slides by running up the mountain or climbing the ropes on the side.
There's a cute little Smurf Village that has a music hut, story hut and play hut. The playground also features a Liberty Swing, sculptural gardens, a shaded sandpit area with a digger, a giant basket swing, hammock, huge green grasshopper and bee springers.
The playground also has a wooden play structure that features a rope climbing frame, monkey bars, flying fox, stepping stones and dual wave slides.
If your kids like trains, make sure to hop on the 'Mount Chelsea Express' train the carriage wobbles when you walk on it.
There's a great Skate Park next to the playground and kilometres of walking trails with links to the Long Beach Trail.
