Description
CherryHill Orchards is located in the Yarra Valley, only 1 hour from Melbourne CBD. The Blossom Festival and Cherry Picking Season are the few times this beautiful orchard opens its door to the public for a unique and memorable day out in the country.
CherryHill Orchards began in 1940 when George Riseborough planted his first cherry trees in Victoria. Today the family still carries on the cherry growing tradition and produces Australia’s finest cherries. The CherryHill team travels the world to find the best innovations and techniques to ensure the cherries are of world-class quality.
The cherry-picking season runs from November through to January at their Wandin East orchard and new Coldstream location. All tickets must be pre-booked, with a timeslot of 2.5 hours is allocated to pick cherries. There are also food trucks on-site, and families are welcome to pack a picnic.
