Disney On Ice Presents Magic in the Stars

Disney On Ice returns to Melbourne in July 2026 with an all-new production, Magic in the Stars, featuring 56 favourite Disney stars in one spectacular live ice show. This large-scale arena experience brings together classic Disney stories and modern favourites through world-class figure skating, aerial acrobatics, lighting effects, and immersive stage design.

The show introduces the on-ice debut of Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon, alongside an all-star lineup including Mirabel, Moana, Tiana, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Elsa, Anna, and many more beloved Disney and Pixar characters. Each performance is designed to bring these stories to life through dynamic movement on the ice, as well as breathtaking aerial sequences above the rink.

Guided by Mickey Mouse and friends, the story follows a journey where every adventure begins with a wish. From fairy tale classics to modern favourites, audiences are taken through a series of iconic Disney moments, each reimagined for the ice with music, choreography, and theatrical storytelling.

The show features highlights from Frozen 2 as Elsa and Anna escape “Into the Unknown”, Moana’s ocean voyage as she sets sail across the sea, and Toy Story characters including Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Rex, and Hamm in action-packed scenes on ice. Fans will also see Encanto’s Madrigal family bring “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” to life, while Aladdin explores the magic of three wishes, and Tiana shares her dream of opening her own restaurant in The Princess and the Frog.

Classic Disney Princess moments are also woven throughout the show, featuring Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, and Rapunzel, alongside Pixar favourites from Cars as Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater hit the ice. A standout moment includes the debut of Raya, who performs a striking aerial acro-pole routine that lifts the production to new heights.

Disney On Ice Presents Magic in the Stars will be held at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne from 2–6 July 2026. The production transforms the arena into a magical journey through Disney’s most iconic stories, celebrating imagination, dreams, and the idea that the brightest light shines within us all.
