Description

Healesville Sanctuary is only an hour from Melbourne’s CBD, in the beautiful Yarra Valley. There are many different animal trails to explore, including the Main Track, Woodlands Track, Dingo Track, Dingo Country, Kangaroo Country, Koala Forest and Platypus Track.

The Sanctuary houses over 200 species of Australian animals. See kangaroos, koalas, emus, dingoes, wombats and endangered animals like the Orange-bellied Parrot & Guthega Skink. Be sure to see the famous Free Spirits of the Sky Show in the flight area and go on the Wurundjeri Walk, which celebrates the life of Indigenous Elder William Barak.

Kids can also explore the Australian Wildlife Health Centre, where they can watch the Healesville Sanctuary Vets treat injured and distressed wildlife and play in the Future Vets play area.

Please note: all members and visitors must pre-book a ticket online. There are no tickets available at the gate.
