Melbourne Zoo is located only 10 mins from Melbourne’s CBD. It features an impressive 320 animal species from around the world, including many endangered species. Families can explore the zoo via the different animal trails – Lion Gorge, Trails of the Elephants, Main Trail, Growing Wild, Gorilla Rainforest, Wild Sea and Australian Bush.

Go underwater in the Wild Sea to view the Australian Fur Seals, Fiordland Penguins and Australian Pelicans. Visit the Lion Gorge to see lions, Snow Leopards or the endangered Sumatran Tiger. Explore the lush Asian village and garden on the Elephant Trail.

Enter the world of Australia’s tropical and subtropical butterflies in the Butterfly House or play in the indoor playspace Keeper Kids.
