Description
Mordialloc Beach is about a 40 min drive south of Melbourne CBD. The beach is a popular destination for families around Melbourne.
Mordialloc Beach runs for 4km from Mordialloc Creek to the bluffs at Mentone. Families can walk along the promenade running behind the beach or watch the fisherman at the end of the pier.
In the summer months, the beach is patrolled by Mordialloc Life Saving Club. The water is generally beautiful and clean unless it's been raining.
The Peter Scullin Reserve Playground is within walking distance from the beach, and the Mordialloc Urban Shopping Village is located along Main Street.
There is paid on-site parking available or the train line is a short walk from the beach.
