Description

Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) is the Mornington Peninsula’s award-winning aquatic and recreation facility.

Located in the heart of Frankston, PARC provides a welcoming, innovative and memorable environment where safety is the priority and fun is the goal for members and visitors of all ages and abilities.

The range of facilities and services include a heated 50-metre swimming pool, 34-degree warm water rehabilitation and exercise pool with spa, sauna and steam room, toddler pool and AquaPlay aquatic playground and creche services.

For families, it’s a great day out for everyone. Kids will be entertained for hours with The AquaPlay Aquatic playground, a multi-level water attraction that includes jets, valves, spray nozzles, a spinning water wheel and a giant tipping bucket.

The excitement continues with the amazing waterslides that PARC boasts. Slither around the twists and turns on a raft with up to four people down the Python, an Australian-first interactive light and sound waterslide. Or take a turn down the Constrictor raft slide, a 114-metre-long slide which can swallow a single or two-person raft into its depths, down a series of spine-tingling spirals with tight, high banking turns.

School Holidays are always a fun time, with PARC throwing an extensive school holiday program that includes launching its giant inflatable course, ‘Splashy’, the first of its kind in Victoria. There are lots of out of water activities to enjoy as well, with entertainment such as face painting, competitions and goodie giveaways.

PARC also offers an extensive swim school program with AUSTSWIM qualified instructors. Our quality program has been developed to ensure the best learning outcomes for your children. There are nine levels, divided by age as well as ability to ensure your child will always be in a class with children of the same age and ability. Levels are mapped to the mandated Victorian Curriculum currently in use at all schools.

Away from the pools is PARCs health club, which has something for everyone from a fully equipped gym, group exercise timetable and personal training. The state-of-the-art gym is stocked with fully connected ‘smart’ cardio and weight machines. There are over forty pieces of equipment in the weight training area, with machines that are perfect for beginners through to the most experienced weightlifter.

It’s easy to work up a sweat with PARC’s wide range of cardio equipment, as the gym boasts over fifty cardio-focused machines including treadmills, rowing machines, bikes, steppers, and x-trainers. There are three dedicated exercise studios, which hosts a timetable of over 260 classes a week. The group exercise timetable features everything from reformers Pilates to Yoga and BODYPUMP to boxing.

The Centre also has on-site parking, a café, creche services, a retail store and free wifi, making every trip to PARC a convenient one.
