Description

Statera is a quirky, funloving and creative circus and physical theatre collective. We facilitate opportunities for artistic expression through community engagement and live performance. We are pursuing circus in non-traditional ways, creating impactful work and engaging workshops for community participation.

We have three main projects;

Community lead and focussed workshops for at-risk youth
Statera Sessions; work in progress showings by artists to receive structured, useful feedback run in collaboration with Gasworks Arts Park
Our accessible and unique circus show; Insert Name

Our new show is jam-packed with innovative movements, ideas and stories. Join us as we play with captivating authenticity.

There are currently four acrobats in our collective; Karina Schiller, Dylan Singh, Aleshanee Kelso and Tomas Correia, as well as our stage manager & go-to-helper Anette Lindroos. Our group is majority-female and includes cast members who identify as Indigenous and LGBTQI+.
