Werribee Open Range Zoo transforms into a glowing prehistoric world these school holidays with the return of Dinos After Dark, a family-friendly after-hours experience featuring illuminated dinosaurs, interactive zones, live entertainment and immersive light installations.
From 4–11 July, visitors can explore the zoo after dark as towering dinosaurs come to life along the glowing Dino River Trail, brought to life with dramatic lighting, special effects and soundscapes.
The African Village Lawn becomes a lively prehistoric playground, featuring a Disco Glow Zone where families can dance under neon lights, try circus skills like hula hoops and spinning plates, and enjoy roaming performers throughout the night.
Younger visitors can also enjoy the Bubble Snow Zone, a playful winter-style experience where kids can run, jump and play in falling snow within the African Village setting.
Across the evening, guests will encounter roaming entertainment including stilt walkers, fire twirlers and circus acts, before winding down around fire pits with marshmallows. A dinosaur-themed food and drink menu will also be available, along with pre-bookable grazing boxes.
Tickets: From $50 (members), $55 (non-members). Children from $26 (members), $29 (non-members). Under 1s free.
