Brass Monkeys at The Melba Spiegeltent

The creators of Children are Stinky have done it again with their new show Brass Monkeys. Directed by Malia Walsh (heaps of stuff) and performed by Kyle Raftery and April Dawson (Lunar Circus, Circus Oz), are the perfect formula for combining circus skills and comedy for all ages.

Performed in the beautiful Melba Spiegeltent as part of the Midsumma Rainbow Families Hub, this exciting and super funny show had my kids glued to their seats.

Brass Monkeys tells the story of two performers who want to run away to join a brass band. The show journeys through steps on how to achieve this – learn to play an instrument, practice makes perfect and of course, a little bit of mojo will take you a long way.
