The creators of Children are Stinky have done it again with their new show Brass Monkeys. Directed by Malia Walsh (heaps of stuff) and performed by Kyle Raftery and April Dawson (Lunar Circus, Circus Oz), are the perfect formula for combining circus skills and comedy for all ages.
Brass Monkeys tells the story of two performers who want to run away to join a brass band. The show journeys through steps on how to achieve this – learn to play an instrument, practice makes perfect and of course, a little bit of mojo will take you a long way.
The show was bursting with high-skilled circus tricks, amazing acrobatics, live music and tons of comedy. There is plenty of audience participation and laugh out loud moments.
If you love hula hoops, dare devil balances, amazing acrobatics and comedy this show is for you!
This is a must-see show for kids and for grown-ups who like a laugh.
Brass Monkeys is presented by Circus Trick Tease, a Melbourne based company that debuted in 2008 at the Melbourne Fringe, winning the ACAPTA and the Peoples Choice Awards.
