The NGV provides creative experiences for young people and their families, both online and on-premises. Share in a child’s early art experiences and discover artworks from the NGV together online program. Under 5’s online – Faces and Feelings allows kids to identity funny faces and explore how artworks in the NGV collection can bring emotion and feeling. Under 5’s online – Art and Environment kids learn about artist Alexandra Kehayoglou’s amazing carpets, made to reflect real-life landscapes and the threats these environments face.

The Blender Studios is the longest-running urban art studio in Melbourne. Here kids can learn from professional artists in their kid’s holiday workshops and programs. The freehand workshop offers an exclusive chance to learn a variety of spraypainting techniques from a renowned street artist. Participants will be walked through every stage of the process, from designing their artwork, learning painting skills, to creating their own masterpiece.
