The NBA Exhibition – an interactive fan experience highlighting the Lifestyle, Culture, and History of the NBA has landed in District Docklands, Melbourne. This exhibition offers fans of all ages in Melbourne multiple ways to connect with the NBA world.

My son recently started playing basketball and has quickly developed a passion for the sport. He and his friends often discuss well-known players, both past and present. That’s why I knew he would be intrigued by this NBA-themed exhibition, and I was right!
Spanning 20 themed sections, the exhibition delves into the NBA’s rich history alongside today’s players.
Covering 1,100 square metres at District Docklands, basketball fans can explore interesting facts about past and present players and snap a photo with the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. Additionally, the exhibition includes information about Australian players toward its conclusion.

There are also interactive activities for fans, including the Slam Dunk Selfie, skill tests, video games, arcade shooting games, and augmented reality. Fans can experience NBA highlights through VR goggles, and step into the Infinity Room, complete with surround sound effects and footage of the league’s most memorable moments.
Furthermore, the exhibition showcases awesome art pieces by Australian and First Nations artists, originally commissioned for the NBA Gallery pop-up exhibit held last year in Sydney. If your kids are interested in the NBA, they are sure to enjoy exploring this exhibition.
It will take fans around 45 to 60 minutes to explore the exhibition.
