Description
Coronation Park, located behind Main Street in Healesville, provides a pleasant setting with walking trails along the Watts River, picnic tables, BBQ facilities, and a rotunda. There is plenty of grass areas for children to play and parking. It’s also a great spot for birdwatching, with frequent sightings of kookaburras.
One notable feature is the Platypus Rock sculpture, which is part of an effort to highlight local wildlife and promote clean waterways. This sculpture, also displayed at the Memo Hall, aims to raise awareness about protecting the habitats of local animals, such as the platypus.
