Get ready for a fun day out at the CherryHill Orchards Cherry Picking Festival
Get ready for a fun day out as the CherryHill Orchards opens two stunning Yarra Valley locations for the much-anticipated annual Cherry Picking Festival. In 2023, CherryHill has joined forces with partners like Mary Eats Cake, Coldstream Brewery, Yarra Valley Dairy, and Hahndorf’s Fine Chocolates in Montrose to take your cherry picking experience to a new level.

Family and friends can pick cherries from the 100-acre Coldstream Orchard from 13 November 2023 to late December 2023 or the 85-acre Wandin East Orchard from 27 November 2023 to early January 2024. It’s a great opportunity to pick cherries right from the trees and take home as many as your heart desires. Be sure to pack a picnic and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
New this year is ‘Cherries, Cheese and Chocolate,’ a delicious collaboration with Yarra Valley Dairy and Hahndorf Fine Chocolates, promising a mid-week foodie adventure like no other. You’ll enjoy a three-stop tour, including cheese tasting, cherry-picking, and an indulgent chocolate experience.

For a special high tea experience, Mary Eats Cake is creating delicious picnic packs filled with treats. Coldstream Brewery is bringing the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival to the Yarra Valley with the Orchard Brew event, featuring cherry picking and a unique cherry-infused beer. There is also the Rochford Wine & Dine experience, where you can enjoy a two-course lunch paired with cherry picking at Rochford Wines.
Bring the family or invite friends, and enjoy local food trucks and be sure to try the cherry ice cream!
