Hosted by The Fruit Nerd and Costa, this festival promises to be a culinary adventure like no other.
The Little Food Festival’s mission is to empower kids to shape their future, through food education. Early childhood experiences profoundly shape their understanding of the world, including food and the environment. The Little Food Festival aims to lay the foundation for healthy food habits and a sustainable planet.

In the Little Food Festival Activation Zones, kids can roll up their sleeves and dive into various activities including:
Grow: Plant seedlings with Bunnings, play ‘What’s in the box’ with United African Farm, and taste delicious honey with Rooftop Bees.
Move: Discover the journey of food from farm to plate with OzHarvest and learn about food miles with Monash University.
Buy: Play the shopping game with The Community Grocer and learn about reducing food waste with Monash University.
Cook: Whip up treats with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation and create pickles to take home with Dillicious Pickles.
Eat: Recreate food memories using Play-Doh and celebrate cultural diversity at the Eat Zone.
Reuse: Learn about composting and recycling to create a sustainable food system with Veolia.
