The Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2024 kicks off just in time for the Easter and Autumn School Holidays. This year’s lineup is packed with exciting shows, including The (Very) Big Laugh Out (VBLO), Comedy Club for Kids, and performances by all your favourite acts like The Listies, Circus Oz, and many more!
Support some of Australia’s funniest kids at the Class Clowns National Grand Final. This unique, national secondary school comedy competition, part of the festival’s development program, encourages teenagers to unleash their comic voice through stand-up, sketch, musical, or physical comedy. With finalists from across the country gathering in Melbourne for one massive teen comedy bash, there’s no better time to witness the next generation of Australian comedy stars.

The (Very) Big Laugh Out (VBLO) returns for a special extravaganza at Fed Square on Good Friday. From 1:30 to 5:00 pm, enjoy free entertainment from the wackiest street performers, stand-up, physical, and musical comedy artists.

Aboriginal comedy star Sean Choolburra presents “Didj & Dance” for three shows only at Melbourne Museum. Cheeky, clever and charismatic, Sean’s charming blend of pop culture, dance, comedy and hip-hop delivers a high-energy, feel-good show for all the family.
Circus Oz brings an irreverent medley of apparently impossible acts as acrobats, tumblers, and more conjure their way into the not-so-everyday world. Smash it! is Circus Oz as unbelievable as ever, stripped back, tent-less, dauntless and daring. An ensemble of seven circus artists and three musicians blast, rip, smash, fly and tumble into a remarkable present where sexagenarians, millennials and Gen Z’s unite in chaotic and hilarious harmony.
