If you are looking for entertaining ways to welcome in 2022 with the kids, here are our top New Years Eve Celebrations in Melbourne.

There are four New Year’s Eve celebration zones in the city that families can attend – Flagstaff Gardens, Treasury Gardens, Alexandra Gardens and Docklands. Each zone offers live entertainment, dance workshops, early fireworks and midnight moment fireworks displays.
As a bonus at the Docklands Celebration Zone, families can witness a drone swarm backed to a special poem titled ‘Melbourne, Feel the Sound’ by local artist, Ren Alessandra winner of the National Poetry Slam 2020.
A valid ticket will be required for entry to your chosen Celebration Zone. Tickets are free and can be accessed via a ticket ballot.

Boneo Discovery Park is hosting a family-friendly New Years Eve party. Families can bring a picnic and enjoy an evening of fun. There will be rides including bungee tramp, rock wall, carousel, mini train and jumping castle to keep the kids busy while the adults enjoy the music and lawn games.
The talented team from an Indirect Object will be back with an incredible new Flower Labyrinth installation and recycled plastic flower workshop, where kids can make their very own recycled plastic flowers.
Magical lanterns from The Lanternist will be illuminating the new nature play space and the night will be topped off with an incredible fire show
Entry ticket includes all activities and rides available on the night.
