WIN the ultimate cherry-lovers prize for the CherryHill Orchards Cherry-Picking Festival

CherryHill Orchards will welcome cherry lovers to their annual Cherry-Picking Festival in November 2022. The cherry-picking festival will run across two stunning locations in the Yarra Valley from mid-November till early January.

Coldstream will open its 100-acre orchard on the 14 November 2022, and for fans of the original orchard in Wandin East, cherry-picking will commence from the 26 November 2022.

Visitors can collect their hand-picked cherries straight into a pre-paid Grab & Go box available in 500g or 1.5kg. Admission to the festival includes 2 hours of cherry picking, and guests are encouraged to pick and eat as many cherries as their heart desires. Any cherries guests wish to take home are charged per kilogram upon departure. Guests are welcome to enjoy the onsite food trucks each day or bring their own picnic and soak up the warm weather taking in the live music and gorgeous vista of the valley.

This year, CherryHill has created a delicious range of cherry-flavoured products including Cherry Vinaigrette, Sweet Cherry Syrup, Cherry BBQ Sauce and Cherry Glaze. CherryHill will also be severing their famous cherry ice cream, in collaboration with Lavezzi Gelato.

For the adults, CherryHill has a line of cherry-flavoured beverages, for guests to enjoy onsite or take home. The Blushing Cherry Gin and Cherry Blossom Gins are the perfect base for a summer cocktail, while the Dry Cider, Cherry Shiraz and Cherry Spritzer ensure that all taste buds are catered for.

To satisfy the sweet tooth, CherryHill has collaborated with Top Tea to create a sensational Cherry Rosella bubble tea – the perfect accompaniment for a warm and sunny day. CherryHill is proudly taking its partnership with The Posh Palais to the next level, offering “Luxe Lounge in the Orchard” packages. Nestled in a private row of the orchard, this 3-hour picnic comes with a pre-packed gourmet picnic hamper of food and drinks.

For the ultimate fine food experience, CherryHill is working with their neighbours at Rochford Wines to offer the “Cherries & Wine” package this summer. Guests can start their afternoon with wine tasting and a gorgeous two course lunch at Rochford, followed by an afternoon picking cherries at the Coldstream orchard.

For those wanting an even more VIP experience, CherryHill and Global Ballooning have teamed up to create a package for the high-flying cherry lover with their “Cherries & Ballooning” package, which includes a sunrise hot air balloon over the Yarra Valley, followed by a champagne breakfast and a morning of cherry picking in the orchard.
