Having a family photo with Santa is a regular tradition in my family and for many families around Melbourne. It can, however, be prohibitively expensive, so we have found places around Melbourne where families can have FREE Santa photos.

The Atrium at Crown Melbourne will once again transform into a Christmas wonderland, and Santa is undoubtedly the most anticipated attraction at Crown over the festive period. Santa will be on his throne for digital photos from 12 pm – 6 pm daily, from 1 – 24 December 2022.

Santa will be making a last-minute stop before the North Pole to say hi to the kids at Queen Victoria Market. Santa will not be at his seat this year, Santa will be roving around Queen Victoria Markets on (20, 21 & 22 December) to take photos with families.

Santa will be dropping by for photos at Bunjil Place this festive season. On Saturday 3 December 2022, Bunjil Place will be hosting a Christmas market and lighting of the plaza Christmas tree. Get your camera’s ready and snap a photo with Santa while enjoying the live music, food trucks, workshops and performers.

Santa will officially open this year’s Frankston’s Christmas Festival of Lights, with an arrival Parade down Young Street. He will then make his way to Santa’s House in Cube 37.
At Cube 37, kids will have a chance to tell Santa all their Christmas wishes and snap their own picture with the big man himself to take home.
