Family fun at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ FIFA Fan Festival™

Fed Square will transform into the official home of the FIFA Fan Festival™ for Melbourne during the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™. This vibrant hub will be the epicentre of all things football, providing an immersive experience to celebrate the best women’s football in the world.

Starting on 20 July 2023, families can gather at Fed Square to watch the matches on the large screen while enjoying an exciting lineup of live music, entertainment, panel discussions, and engaging family activities.

The month-long program is free and live from 20 July 2023 for every game until 20 August 2023.

Kids can engage in sustainable craft stations, contribute to a community message wall, and explore the world of the FIFA Women’s World Cup and football. Don’t miss the opportunity for kids to participate in an exciting sustainable craft workshop, where they can build their very own football. Spaces are limited, so make sure to arrive early and secure a spot for this unique and hands-on activity.

Plus, there will be a face painter available on selected dates, so you and your family can proudly support your team with spirited face paint, no matter where you watch the game.

Entertainment

There will be an incredible lineup of stage performances at the FIFA Fan Festival. With 15 days of stage activity planned, you want to make sure you don’t miss Friday 21 July at 7.30 pm to see Indigenous singer-songwriter, Sycco, and Monday 31 July at 7 pm to see Australian singer-songwriter Samantha Jade LIVE on stage. With other stage entertainment including DJs, singers, percussionists, football tricksters and dancers.

Please be aware that stage entertainment will only be live when there are no games being screened.
