I am incredibly inspired by the FUSE program this year. It showcases not only the work of our amazing artistic community but also how the festival continues to support those artists during a turbulent couple of years. As an artist-led festival, FUSE captures the essence of Darebin’s vibrancy, creativity and inclusivity. I’m excited to see our public spaces transform into places where the community can come together to celebrate the exciting talent that exists across our multicultural city.

An Uncertain Time

An Uncertain Time is a 35 minute, immersive, sensory theatre performance designed specifically for babies aged 0-12 months and their carers.
Neuroscience tells us that critical neural pathways are formed in the first three years of life. Providing infants with quality arts and cultural experience fosters their understanding of beauty, belonging and story. Taking the notion of the first year of an infant’s life as a period of great uncertainty for both baby and carer, An Uncertain Time uses elements of song, sound, physical theatre and object puppetry to create a narrative journey for both baby and carer.

Date: 23 – 27 March 2022
Time: 9.30am, 11am & 1pm
Price: $15 – $35
Location: Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre, 189 High Street, Northcote
