Boneo Discovery Park is hosting a jam-packed night of entertainment, interactive activations and delicious food and drinks. Families can experience the magic of ANIMALIA In Sand with a world-first Augmented Reality experience. The Lanternist will be back with pieces from Lantasia lights and their brand new Energies collection.

Older kids can enjoy bungee tramps, rock wall and pedal boats, while the younger kids can enjoy the mini train, carousel and jumping castle.

Early Fireworks at Yarra Park

Families are invited to join in the New Year celebrations at Yarra Park next to the MCG with the 9.30 pm fireworks. There’s free entertainment, films and a spectacular fireworks display at 9.30pm.
The stage entertainment starts at 6.15pm and is duplicated in two distinct zones to assist with large crowds. From 8pm the feature film The Secret Life of Pets 2 will be showing (there will be a break in the film for the fireworks, the film will finish at 10pm).

The Maribyrnong City Council is hosting New Year’s Eve fireworks at 9.30pm in Footscray Park. Invite your friends and family and enjoy free entertainment from children’s entertainer Peter Combe, Dance Habit, Olympia and an eight-piece powerhouse band called Jazz Party.
