Tesselaar Tulip Festival
In 2025, the Tesselaar Tulip Festival marks an incredible milestone — 70 years of sharing the vibrant beauty of tulips with visitors from near and far. For seven decades, fields of colour have drawn families, flower lovers, and day trippers to the Dandenong Ranges to witness the breathtaking display of over a million blooming tulips.
This year’s anniversary is set to be a special one — celebrating the past, present and future of one of Victoria’s most beloved floral festivals.

During the September school holidays, CherryHill Orchards is hosting a series of seasonal events perfect for families. Bloom & Graze runs on 6 – 7 and 13 – 14 September at Coldstream, offering local produce, workshops, and activities for all ages. Blossom by Light from 19 – 22 September at Wandin East brings an evening of illuminated gardens, food, and entertainment, ideal for a family outing. Following that, the Blossom Festival runs 24 September – 5 October, featuring daytime and weekend activities including markets, garden walks, and seasonal treats.

Gasworks Arts Park – Kids Holiday Program
Gasworks Arts Park is offering a fun and creative kids holiday program packed with hands-on workshops and activities. On 22 September, children can join ARTea Art School for Illustrate Otters, Butterfly Clay!, or Cardboard Skateboard Sculptures, exploring drawing, clay work, and sculpting skills. On 23 September, Dance & Movement from Around the World with Rebel Stepz Arts invites kids to learn dances from five different cultures. Fencing for beginners takes place on 24 September, followed by Melody Makers on 30 September, a vocal workshop encouraging young singers to explore melody and harmony. The program wraps up with Coppersmithing with Benjamin Storch on 1 October, where kids can learn metalworking skills in a hands-on session.

Circa: Duck Pond
Circa presents Duck Pond, a playful reimagining of Swan Lake combining circus, ballet, and contemporary theatre.
